Overcoming - Original
Original painting by Heatherly
18x24 on gallery wrapped canvas in a black floating frame
It does not announce itself. It simply appears.
From a jungle that exists somewhere between memory and dream — teal bleeding into jade, blush dissolving into shadow — the white tiger emerges. Unhurried. Inevitable. Its luminous coat glows against the loose, gestural world around it, bold black stripes cutting through color like something ancient rising to the surface.
Its gaze does not waver. It has seen things the waking world cannot name.
The artist's hand moves between worlds too — rendering the tiger with intimate, almost reverent detail while letting everything else drift and dissolve. What remains is presence. Pure, quiet, unshakeable.
Overcoming does not decorate a room. It anchors it.
