It has been watching long before you arrived.

Vast and luminous, the eye holds you — green and blue shifting like deep water, threaded with gold that catches the light and refuses to let it go. The patterns surrounding it speak of something ancient, something that has witnessed the rise and fall of worlds and found them all, in the end, rather small.

You cannot look at this painting casually. It pulls you in, closer and closer, until you are no longer sure who is observing whom.
